Privacy Policy
Last updated: 19 October 2026
This policy covers Zerethon Games at game.zerethon.com and its dedicated game sites (chessking.zerethon.com, build-the-bridge.zerethon.com, bloom-rescue.zerethon.com and memory-garden.zerethon.com). It explains what data the games use, which cookies are set, and how advertising works on these sites. Your Zerethon account itself is covered by the Zerethon Privacy Policy.
Playing without an account
You can play every game without signing in. Game progress, best scores, settings and bookmarked games are saved in your browser's local storage on your device. They are not sent to us, and clearing your browser data removes them.
Playing with a Zerethon account
When you sign in with your Zerethon account, we store:
- your account identifier and display name, received from Zerethon sign-in;
- scores you submit to a game leaderboard and your Zerethon Daily results;
- online 1v1 match results and your rating for each multiplayer game;
- your saved Memory Garden, if you play it while signed in.
Leaderboards are public: your display name, score and rating can be seen by anyone who visits them.
Online matches
To run an online match we store the match code, the moves and the result. Guests who play an online match get a temporary identifier in their session so the game can tell the two players apart.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
Zerethon Games shows ads served by Google AdSense, which pays for running the games for free.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices or, in Europe, youronlinechoices.eu.
Read more in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Analytics (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics to understand which games are played and how pages perform. It sets cookies and collects usage data such as pages viewed, device and browser type, and approximate location. You can block it with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Cookies we set
- Session cookie β keeps you signed in and protects forms. Removed when the session ends.
- zr_landing_utm β only when you arrive through a link with campaign parameters (such as utm_source); remembers which link brought you here, for 30 days.
- Google AdSense and Google Analytics cookies β set by Google as described above.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The games still work without them; signing in needs the session cookie.
Server logs
Like most websites, our servers record technical information for each request, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested. We use it to keep the service running and to prevent abuse.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Data is shared only with the providers that run these features: Google for advertising and analytics, and our hosting provider.
Children
Zerethon Games is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has signed in and submitted scores, contact us and we will remove that data.
Your choices and contact
You can clear your browser data at any time, sign out, or ask us to delete the scores, ratings and garden linked to your account. Email hello@zerethon.com or use the Zerethon contact page. We will update this page when the games change how they use data.
